The New Tang house design holds an Eastern contemporary-traditional aesthetic. The layered roof forms and calm horizontal lines draw on the gentle mountain landscape nearby. This is juxtaposed with the “piano noble” (tall second story), expressing the vibrant vertical character found in traditional Chinese architecture.
